6th ADC

A trip or a volunteerism in Nepal for two weeks really showed me the value and knowledge of Drukpa. Never have I heard of Annual Drukpa Council (ADC) in the past. For a guy like me such council is a meeting of great Drukpa gurus to keep alive the spirit of Drukpa which is almost like PEACE and HARMONY. Actually last year ADC is themed on these two words.

As it is for the first time that I could attend such council, it gave me a sentiment that Nepalese, Lhadakhis, Tibetans, Bhutanese are all bind together by a special bond called Drukpa. We are a family. Got a chance to explore our history more than known. Met new friends, shared joyful moments, danced in front of great Rinpoches and most of all blessed by the Rinpoches.

Going Nuts

The size of the earth compared to sun and the sun compared to the universe what are human, their thoughts and their existence and also why human?   My singular opinion is a 0.0001 part from a blade of grass and so is my existence. Despite this fact I write becoz I have freedom now and I have the freedom to let go my diary.  I want to see what comes after death eagerly not that I am about to commit suicide .. Does the Faith hold any water? Does my bad intentions got its consequences? Time, can it be hold?  I feel there is a secret, a great one human should know and its apparent just that we dont look in it. It's just a feel I got.

Beautiful Sharshops

A bus ticket from Trashigang to Thimphu. This ticket is a golden ticket if u travel alone. Sharshops as we say to people from eastern Bhutan, they are the people born of modesty and humility. Maybe not all but most of them are. From the mid year of 2013 to 2018 i had made frequent travels in that route. And i have untold fond memories most of which is comprised by Sharshokpas. The bus driver accommodates more than capacity, this is not a complain but a factor making the journey more memorable. As compact it is, the livelier it is. A old woman run out of her BaBa and was asking me if i chew.... somewhere after we crossed the breakfast point in Yadi. I shared her mine. And next??...she was asking about my hometown, my family and so on it goes till Sengor. And its in Sengor where its stopped for lunch. Normally i hate to talk to strangers for this long but in her i saw some truth, genuineness that absorbs ones consciousness so deeply though the topic of our talk being very ordinary. ...

i am a Bhutanese

Who am I ? I am a boy one year ago had qualified from the name kid and very soon would be promoted as a man. I had always wished to be a journalist. To serve my country and my people is my sole objectivity. By blood I am a Bhutanese, my grandfather used to say Bhutanese works for others. I too want to work for my people and my country. My country’s hard time is also a hard time for me. May never do my duty to my country as a hero but shall never fail to serve her in small ways. Journalist tells all my vows and beliefs . What am I doing here? Here in this Sherubtse College I am studying to make myself what I had wished for. Well, can also say preparing for future. I am doing great here, meeting our legends, getting inspired to do more than they did. Study is my only 30% concentration and 70% is divided in reading novels, chatting, watching movies and writing poems. The real purpose to be here is to study and I am fulfilling the purpose. Where am I heading to? I am headin...
