Beautiful Sharshops

A bus ticket from Trashigang to Thimphu.

This ticket is a golden ticket if u travel alone. Sharshops as we say to people from eastern Bhutan, they are the people born of modesty and humility. Maybe not all but most of them are.

From the mid year of 2013 to 2018 i had made frequent travels in that route. And i have untold fond memories most of which is comprised by Sharshokpas.

The bus driver accommodates more than capacity, this is not a complain but a factor making the journey more memorable. As compact it is, the livelier it is.

A old woman run out of her BaBa and was asking me if i chew.... somewhere after we crossed the breakfast point in Yadi. I shared her mine. And next??...she was asking about my hometown, my family and so on it goes till Sengor. And its in Sengor where its stopped for lunch. Normally i hate to talk to strangers for this long but in her i saw some truth, genuineness that absorbs ones consciousness so deeply though the topic of our talk being very ordinary.

I recount one time i was eating lunch alone in Sengor hotel and there comes a young boy in early twenties and start talking about food. How foods are cooked back there in his home and the taste. Oh my god like he knows me from a long time. I never feel alone.

Back in Bus many topics are in hot discussions participated by almost all the passengers...like a family. Gosh.

One time my ex wife the then my wife was calling me... and  i was replying...Mommy i am uphill to Thrimshingla and i will call u when i reach Bumthang. I hung up my phone. And from behind a joyful aunty says seems you hav a caring gf. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…...and i replied i hav wife...and she was taken aback like...really..??...you are very young. πŸ˜…πŸ˜… and we keep on talking till we reach Bumthang.

A old man ask where i am upto....and i say to Trongsa and u..??..he says to Thimphu...i hav my son got a new home there..a new job and asking me to come over time and again, his silent pride apparent😐😐...very cute...how parents take their kids success.

During the lunch time in Sengor, and yes there is only a hotel and 3 or 4 buses arrive at the same time and fellow passengers would say Kota we should hurry or  the food will run outπŸ˜…πŸ˜…..and we go in hurriedly.

These people are very humble and in their environment i tend to love my country more becoz we hav such a beautiful peoples....πŸ’—

Some moments maybe left out..whenever i recall vividly it will be updated

If u doubt fabrications i staunchly vouch u to travel alone in that bus....
